Water Bottle FAQ
How to clean your new bottle.Use a mild soap and a bottle brush for best results. Some manufactures state that the bottles are dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand washing, to ensure the quality of the finish and artwork. It only makes sense to avoid the harsh conditions of a dishwasher and the possibility of the water bottle being thrashed by the water pressure and the high heat of the drying cycle. What liquids can I carry in my bottle? You can carry any cold to warm liquids in your stainless steel bottle including juice, soda, milk, and alcohol. The bottles are designed to not break down due to acids in citrus juices and soda drinks. Just fill up with your beverage of choice and you're good to go! Can I put hot liquids in my water bottle?Stainless steel water bottles are single walled and not designed for use with HOT liquids, the temperature will transfer, and you may be burned. Warm beverages can be used at personal comfort level. Can I put my water bottle in the freezer? To ensure that your bottle doesn't spring a leak you shouldn't place your bottle in the freezer with water in it. The expansion of the water as it turns to ice could compromise the integrity of the seams that hold your bottle together! Freezing your bottle will void your bottle's warranty. Where are the water bottles made?We have spoken to many bottle suppliers about this issue. Most of the companies we have spoken with would prefer to have them made in the U.S.A, but none have been able to find one that is cost effective. If, in the future, we are able to find a supplier we will definitely add them to our inventory. To keep prices affordable the bottles are produced in China. The suppliers we have chosen each have an experienced and dependable team in China that visits their manufacturing facility on a regular basis. You can rest assured that our suppliers work in a socially responsible manner to bring you the highest quality bottle at a reasonable price. |
